Fairfield Art Center, Sturgeon Bay
On Tuesday, September 2, Door County artist Ernest Beutel will open an exhibition titled Animality in Gallery 242, located on the lower level of the Fairfield Art Center. The exhibition will launch with a free reception from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and refreshments will be served. Beutel’s work can be best described as abstract representationalism, and interpretation of reality with elements of abstraction. Info: 920-746-0001.

Peninsula Players Theatre, Fish Creek
Peninsula Players perform Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure, by Steven Dietz. Based on the original 1899 play by William Gillette and Arthur Conan Doyle. The game is afoot as Holmes uses his keen powers of observation and deductive reasoning in what may be his final case. Filled with danger, intrigue, humor and surprise. Five Historic Locales
Visit five historical Ephraim locales - the Anderson Barn History Center, Anderson Store Museum, Pioneer Schoolhouse and Goodletson Cabin, and the Historic Iverson House. All museums are open from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday June 13 - August 30. Fall hours are 11:00 am - 4:00 pm Fridays and Saturdays September 5 through October 6. Admission is good for all buildings and includes historic Ephraim walking tours. Adults $5, students 6-18 $3, free for children under 6. Info: 920-854-9688.
HISTORIC EPHRAIM WALKING TOURS

Guided walking tour of Ephraim, leaving from the Anderson Barn, 3060 Anderson Lane. Walks begin at 10:30 am Tuesday through Friday through September 1. Walking tour included in the admission to Ephraim Village Museums. $5 adults, $3 students 6-18, children under 6 free. Info: 920-854-9688.

I’m a Boomer, Baby! starring Dan Riley will be presented at Mr. G’s Dinner Theatre in Jacksonport. The show, which is a fun-loving musical romp through the Baby Boomer era, will run Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from August 26th through October 25th. HISTORIC NOBLE HOUSE TOURS

Noble House Museum, Noble Square, Fish Creek
Step into the past by touring the Noble House, circa 1875, with a knowledgeable docent. Hightlights of Fish Creek life in the late 1800s as lived by the Alexander Noble Family. Period room settings and many original artifacts. Tuesday - Sunday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm. Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for Children.
SEGWAY PT TOUR THROUGH PENINSULA STATE PARK

Looking for a unique way to see the sights of Door County? How about on the two wheels of a Segway Personal Transporter? After a half hour training on the Segway PT, we will glide up and down hills through Peninsula State Park for about 1 1/2 hours.
